Day 1: Galbiate

GALBIATE (-/L/D)
Embark on a journey through history, tradition and breathtaking landscapes on horseback! Experience the magic of one of Italy’s most iconic areas: Lake Como. Riding purebred Arabians, you’ll enjoy spectacular views in the company of Martina, our guide and owner of the equestrian center. A true expert in both horses and hospitality, she will lead you through a unique and unforgettable adventure with athletic and sensitive horses capable of creating bonds and memories that last: from mountains to lake through the countryside. Explore the ghost town, savor meals at typical farmhouses, and immerse yourself in the beauty of this territory.

Self-arrival at Noor Horse Trek - Via delle Gagliarde, 6, 23851 Galbiate (LC) around 9:00 AM (pick-up from airport or station available on request at extra cost), meeting with Martina, trek presentation, and horse assignment. The treks planned for these days follow a star-shaped route, always departing from and returning to Noor (or the agriturismo where you’ll stay), allowing us to explore our fantastic territory between lake and mountains. We’ll set off on a two-hour ride to the Ghost Town of Consonno, along a simple forest trail with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Lunch stop at a farmhouse restaurant with a spectacular lake view. After lunch, we’ll continue for another four hours through woods and ancient farms, reaching our accommodation: an agriturismo, a cozy wooden cabin immersed in nature, simple but clean. Dinner at a local restaurant, overnight in agriturismo.

Day 2: Galbiate

GALBIATE (B/L/D)
Today will be the longest and most challenging riding day. Departure around 7:30 AM for a four-hour ride to Campsirago, an ancient and picturesque rural village about 670 meters above sea level, on the slopes of Monte San Genesio.
From here you’ll enjoy breathtaking views stretching from the Larian Prealps to the lakes of Brianza, the Adda River valley, and the Orobic hills. In the 1970s, the village was inhabited by a hippie community.
After lunch at an excellent agriturismo, we’ll visit an exhibition by a local painter specializing in horse paintings. We’ll then complete our loop route and return to a delightful aperitif.
Homemade Italian-style convivial dinner and overnight in agriturismo.

Day 3: Galbiate

GALBIATE (B/L/D)
The third day is dedicated to discovering the lake and countryside, with a tour around Lake Annone. We’ll stop at Poncia, an ancient private estate that once hosted an important breeding center for trotting and galloping horses. Later, it became the home of gauchos who introduced the Polo discipline.
Galloping along the old training track will be an unforgettable experience! We’ll continue our tour through the Brianza heathland, stopping for lunch at a typical agriturismo. In the evening, after returning the horses, we’ll end the day with dinner at a local restaurant, enjoying a fabulous pizza!

Day 4:

GALBIATE (B/L/-)
It’s the last day, and we’ve dedicated it to exploring the Adda River as it flows into one of the arms of Lake Como. We’ll ride along a stretch of the ancient watercourse leading all the way to central Milan. We’ll stop in the Brivio area to explore it and leave our horses at a restaurant, where we’ll share our final lunch together.
After lunch, we’ll return to Noor stables where we’ll say goodbye before transferring you to your accommodation to collect your luggage. Independent departure.
