Day 1: New York / Arrival

Arrive in New York. Transfer on your own to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free. New York is the largest city in the United States, with a population of over 8.2 million. The core of the New York metropolitan area, it ranks among the world's largest cities and is regarded as a preeminent global city due to its worldwide influence in the fields of media, politics, education, entertainment, and fashion. The city's cultural centers serve as key hubs and influential forces within the country.

Day 2: New York

New York City comprises five boroughs: The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Wall Street, Times Square, Central Park, the Empire State Building, and the Chrysler Building are just a few of the many attractions you can visit. With its 24-hour subway system and the constant bustle of traffic and people, New York is known as "the city that never sleeps." You a full day to explore all the attractions, sights, and vibrancy that this great city has to offer.

Day 3: New York – Boston

Pick up your rental car in the city. Depart for New England and Boston. Traveling along the Atlantic coast, you will pass through Connecticut, where we recommend stopping at Mystic Seaport. Time permitting, a visit to Newport, RI, should be included. This beautiful city is nicknamed "America's First Resort" after many of America's wealthiest individuals built magnificent summer residences there at the turn of the century. Today, many of these are museums. Approximately 213 mi / 340 km.

Day 4: Boston

Enjoy a full day in Boston to discover all of its attractions—many of which can easily be explored on foot. Notable sites include Boston Common. Explore Boston's historic core, Beacon Hill, the Boston Tea Party site, the Old North Church, and the Bunker Hill Monument; then, visit the renowned Harvard University in Cambridge, located just across the Charles River. Spend some time strolling along the Freedom Trail to see the city's most significant historical landmarks, including the Boston Tea Party site, Faneuil Hall, the Paul Revere House, the Old State House, and Copley Square—home to Trinity Church. During your stay in Boston, we recommend taking a whale-watching cruise aboard a high-speed catamaran (available from April to October) or visiting the New England Aquarium!

Day 5: Boston – White Mountains

Day 14: Lancaster – Washington

Along your route, be sure to visit Gettysburg, site of the infamous Civil War battle. In Washington, DC, you will visit the capital's famous landmarks, such as the White House, the Capitol, the Washington Monument, and the Jefferson Memorial. Approximately 115 mi / 185 km.
