Jour 1: Bandera
ITALY / SAN ANTONIO / BANDERA (-/-/D)
Welcome to Texas, near the historic town of Bandera! Known as “The Lone Star State”, Texas is one of the most iconic regions of the USA — second largest by area (after Alaska) and population (after California).
It was right here in the 1800s, in the legendary town of Bandera — just a short distance from our ranch — that the great cattle drives began. If you’re a western culture enthusiast, captivated by plaid shirts and saloon charm, you’ll love spending a few days at a Texas ranch and exploring Bandera, the “Cowboy Capital of the World”, filled with events and attractions.
The riding experience will be just as thrilling: atop sturdy Quarter Horses, you’ll ride along different trails each day and enjoy the rolling hills of the Hill Country State Natural Area.
Don’t worry if you’re not an experienced rider — the ranch offers many other activities such as fishing and kayaking.
Arrival at San Antonio Airport (SAT). (Transfer available on request for a fee – contact Raymond Robles directly at +1-210-887-5809. Car rental is recommended.) Independent transfer to the ranch, check-in from 2:00 PM. The ranch is located just outside Bandera.
Accommodation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Jour 2: Bandera
to Day 5: BANDERA (B/L/D)
The ranch offers packages suitable for all riding levels. Experienced riders will enjoy the company of our well-trained Quarter Horses, while beginners can take advantage of private Western riding lessons.
Groups are kept small to ensure horses, trails, and pace are tailored to participants’ experience levels. Rides last approximately 2 hours per day, with a different route each time.
Non-riders or those who prefer to mix things up can enjoy activities such as hiking and birdwatching.
Additional activities available for a fee include: bike rental, fishing, kayaking, and golf (nearby).
Don’t miss a visit to the legendary town of Bandera, where cattle drives originated in the mid-1800s. The town offers shopping, Western nightlife, and weekend rodeos.
Nearby towns like Comfort, Fredericksburg, and San Antonio also offer charming pioneer-era experiences.
