We'll depart from El Calafate towards Los Glaciares National Park, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1981, to see the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier. The journey offers delightful surprises from the start, with scenic views of Lake Argentino and its diverse birdlife. As we travel through the Patagonian steppe and into the Andean Patagonian Forest the landscape transforms. Upon reaching the glacier, we'll explore the main balcony and wander freely along the walkways, offering various viewpoints of the glacier. Named after a renowned Argentine explorer, the glacier creates a remarkable natural spectacle as it dams the waters of Brazo Rico before eventually collapsing into Lake Argentino. For lunch, the park provides restaurant and snack services.
