Day 1: Day 1 Arrival Kayseri / Cappadocia
• Upon arrival at Kayseri airport, we transferred to our hotel in Cappadocia. • Dinner and overnight at hotel in Cappadocia
Day 2: Day 2 Cappadocia / Konya (B/L/D)
Optional Hot Air Balloon Flight ,this is truly a once in a life time experience and there is no better way to see the distinctive landscapes of Cappadocia than by gently floating overhead in a hot air balloon. We guarantee the departure as long as the weather allows. After breakfast, we will explore the famous valleys of Cappadocia. It is a unique location in the world with one of a kind natural rock formation. A very long time ago, volcanic eruptions caused the lava flow that dried above the Earth’s crust and formed tufa rocks. Erosion shaped them into famous formations called “fairy chimneys,” but it is not only the landscape that makes this place unique. Hittites chiseled the soft tufa stones to carve out this fairy tale world into homes, stables, shops, churches, hospitals, etc., etc. Early Christians carved caves and made frescoes of Biblical scenes on the walls of these rock-carved chapels. Some of these frescoes are still incredibly vivid, attesting to the skills and religious fervor of the faithful. Within the Cappadocia region we will visit Goreme Open Air Museum, Uchisar Valley (Panoramic view), Avanos and Urgup ( Three beauties ) the latter providing us with the opportunity to purchase some pottery made by kick-wheel method. In the afternoon, depart for Konya (approx. 3 hours drive). Upon arrival, attend the Şebi Arus Ceremony, the commemoration of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi’s union with the divine. Experience the spiritual atmosphere of the Whirling Dervishes.
Day 3: Day 3 Konya / Cappadocia
After breakfast, enjoy a Konya cultural tour visiting the Mevlana Museum, Alaeddin Mosque, and Karatay Medrese, known for their remarkable Seljuk architecture and historical significance. In the late afternoon, depart for Cappadocia (approx. 4.5–5 hours drive). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.
Day 4: Day 4 Cappadocia / Fly To Istanbul
After breakfast, we drive to Kayseri airport for our departure flight back home.
