Day 1: Es Migjorn Gran
ITALY / MAHON / ES MIGJORN GRAN (-/-/D)
Exploring Menorca on horseback is possible… This is the wildest of the Balearic Islands, which also include Mallorca and the livelier Ibiza and Formentera. Known as “the island of calm”, it is a welcoming and somewhat mysterious retreat for those seeking peace, silence, and tranquility—along with breathtaking beaches.
With its 80 beaches and coves—many still unspoiled and surrounded by pine trees and Mediterranean scrub—Menorca is the most magical and least touristy of the Balearics. Declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1993, it offers 179 km of coastal trails, excellent cuisine, the elegant architecture of Ciutadella, and the British charm of Mahon, the capital.
This trip allows you to discover this stunning island on the back of the beautiful Menorcan horse, a noble native breed known for its fiery temperament and glossy black coat. Hardy and energetic, it is easy to care for, with no particular weaknesses, and is loyal, sensitive, and well-suited for Menorcan dressage (doma menorquina), doma vaquera, bullfighting exhibitions, and driving.
Calm, elegant, and obedient, it will be your ideal companion to explore the island's highlights:
Sa Cova d’es Coloms, the island’s most famous cave, also called “The Cathedral”
Algendar, Trebalúger, Albranca, and Sa Vall, the most beautiful gorges
Escorxada, Fustam, and Trebalúger, the wildest beaches
S’Albufera d’Es Grau Natural Reserve
Flight to Menorca Airport (MAH). Welcome at the airport by our local staff and transfer to your rural hotel. Welcome dinner with itinerary presentation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Es Migjorn Gran
ES MIGJORN GRAN (B/L/D)

Saddle up for your first ride exploring the surroundings, including the prehistoric village of Sant Agustí.
Lunch at a local beachside restaurant, then ride in the afternoon through Camí de Cavalls, Barranc de Son Fideu, and the most famous cave on the island, Sa Cova d’es Coloms, also known as “The Cathedral”.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Es Migjorn Gran
ES MIGJORN GRAN (B/L/D)
Meet at the Binigaus Vell rural hotel stables. Today we’ll explore the island’s main gorges: Algendar, Trebalúger, and Albranca, and ride past the wild beaches of Escorxada, Fustam, and Trebalúger, reaching Cala Mitjana for lunch.
Return to the stables via Camí de Cavalls trails. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Es Migjorn Gran
ES MIGJORN GRAN (B/L/D)
Our final ride follows the Camí de Cavalls from west to east. The trail starts gently before venturing into the rugged landscape of southern gorges.
We’ll ride inland to reach Son Bou, passing through Sa Vall gorge and its wetlands, continuing via Talis, and then along scenic cliffs leading to El Prat de Son Bou—a vital wetland rich in biodiversity and an excellent birdwatching spot.
From there, we reach Son Bou Beach, the longest on Menorca at over 3 km.
Return to Sant Tomás and Sant Adeodato by the sea, riding along dunes and quiet coastlines, where we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon, we’ll conclude the experience with a private Menorcan dressage lesson at an equestrian center. The bravest riders can even try the famous “bot”.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
